They are not aloud to harrass you period.

If you have obligations thru marriage there are certain steps you might have to take . First and foremost do not say anything to them except to speak to their supervisor.

second ask for their address. Tell them that you know your rights and from this point forward any other contact with you will be considered harrassment . DOCUMENT DOCUMENT DOCUMENT. Write down times they call. ps be forewarned they might even try to contact neighbors.

google : laws concerning debt collection and harrassment and their are sites which will better to inform you.

Some unsavory collectors use harrassment, threats and etc. this is not aloud. INFORM YOUR SELF. As a last resort tell them YOU KNOW YOUR RIGHTS and lol tell them your brother is a debt collector also. they usually back off. What should I do w/credit cards collectors contact me for a credit card that belong to my husband?

Tell the collectors that you're NOT the debitor and close the door.

Don't talk to them.
First, ask your husband for the form to pay the bill, and pay it yourself. Then, take your husband to credit counseling.
What state do you live in? I would have my name removed from any credit account that your husband is on or your credit will be negatively affected along with you husbands! Close the account and cut up the card and make sure that credit cards are separate and make sure that your bank account is your own along with debit cards. The credit counselor is nice for him but you need to do something now. The credit counselor can run your credit reports and you can see what is going on individually and together.
