I think he is playing but he will say and do things all the time to get a reaction out of me, then he starts laughing and says he does it because it so easy. Why does my husband get pleasure out of making me mad?

My husband said that is a good answer. He does the same thing to me and he says he does it because its fun and he gets bored lol. He also says at least your husband is being honest and telling you why. To me its like when you were in school and a boy picked on you, it meant they liked you. If my husband stopped picking on me or trying to make me mad I would think he didn't like me. I hate it when he starts trouble, but I ususally get over it. Good luck. They are pains in the butt.

He may tell you that he is only kidding you but believe me at some point it will go farther and farther to see how much of a rise he is able to get. My advice for you is to have a discussion with him and tell him that your feelings are hurt when he stoops to this level in order to ';get to you.';
Any emotion is a sign that you care. I believe he is doing it to get a rise out of you to say you care. Also he maybe bored and need a little relief. Next time he does this if it is too much for you to bear, simply walk away or ignore him.





I actually think it is cute. He means no harm and as one responder said, he probably does it out of affection and love. Instead of letting it upset you, beat him to the punch. Wink at him and let him know you are on to him then have a tickle or pillow fight. End in laughter instead of one sided anger.
