How can my daughter request Army service records of her husband?

There's obviously a long story behind this question. I'll spare you the details.

How can my daughter request the army service records of her husband, and possibly others who might have served with him?How can my daughter request Army service records of her husband?
I'm not sure she's entitled to them.... they're confidential, just like any other employee record would be confidential from anyone other than the employee himself. How can my daughter request Army service records of her husband?
Write or call to the Veterans Administration they should be able to help her.
she can't. they are his personal files. If he is deceased, she can request them through Archives, but it will be a very basic report, no details.

she will not be able to acess anyone elses without permission from them or their families.
Only if he is deceased....or disabled. Sometimes the DOD will give some information. You can also try American Legion, VFW.

I started here to get records of my deceased relatives

to find others that served with him she needs to connect with

www.military.com

and his branch of service which has their own websites that help

She will need to prove Kinship, obtaining service records of those that aren't related are private.
