Does the state of Alaska need to file contempt charges and an arrest warrant for Palin and her Husband?

We are a nation of laws, when people like Palin thinks they are above the law they need to be made an example of. You cannot ignore a subpoena all because you don't like it. What example is this showing to our children.

The subpoenas are being disputed and a judge will make the determination as to their validity - until then, no laws have been broken and no subpoenas have been ignored.

Politicians must be held accountable, no argument here, but they must not be subject to innuendos and unsubstantiated allegations that are simply not true and are put out there by their opponents in an effort to simply raise suspicion and discredit them. This is also an example of immoral tactics and mud slinging that we need not show our children.Does the state of Alaska need to file contempt charges and an arrest warrant for Palin and her Husband?
She and her husband need to answer these allegations. We have allowed too much getting around the laws by politicians and celebrities. It will never end until we make a stand to make them accountable. If they are innocent the evidence will bear this out; and if not they should face the consequences. But to delay with the hope of winning the election is outright corrupt. If McCain /Palin are elected and are proved guilty they will escape justice at that point because the new President can pardon them (a President's privilege).
You must have your info wrong. A subpoena was not issued. It was a voluntary questioning session you must be referring to. For the record, if my brother in law tazered my nephew, I would be all over that. I live in Alaska and know the ins and outs of this family feud through friends and family. There is no solid evidence that Sarah herself pressured anyone. Wooten beat her sister, cheated on her, threatened to kill her father, and misused his power as a state trooper. He was also seen drinking while driving his police car. get your facts.
Yes, they should. If this was the average Joe or Jane involved in something like this and they refused to cooperate, there would be hell to pay. So suddenly she and her husband are above the law and choose to hide behind the lie that Obama's people are behind the investigation? Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this investigation going on before she was chosen as a VP candidate?
She never got a subpoena so she's not breaking the law.

** keep your thumbs to yourself. If you don't believe me look it up. She was never officially handed a subpoena and therefore is not breaking any laws by not complying with the investigation.
The Palins are under no legal requirements to respond to a subpoena that does not come from a court of law. It's their choice. And since the panel that issued the subpoena is overtly out to get Sarah, I sure don't blame them in the least.
No she can just delay it. What about the Treason Charges Obama is facing? When he went to Iraq he try to make a deal with the Iraqis not to make a deal of withdrawing the troops until after the election. He wanted to make it a withdraw in 2012, election year?
I think Repubs were giving Dems crap yesterday about turning a question around on and pointing the finger at Bush - much like the first answer to your question does.

We are a nation of laws. If you break them, you must face consequences.
The fact that none have been issued....and the fact that the case is falling apart should be an indication that the the whole thing is a simple, baseless, DNC sponsored attack....

...but I get it, you hate Palin....so why bother with the ';facts';...
I agree with you. She needs to face the charges. But, since she is obviously guilty (why else would she be ignoring the subpoenas?), she's trying to weasel out of it. I guess it makes her the perfect politician, huh?
No subpoenas have been issued. No court has taken a case. Just some pro-Obama state legislators want to launch an investigation.
Kind of like when Bush lied and cost us 4,000 soldiers and 3 trillion dollars and debt. Funny how Clinton was put under oath and Bush wasn't.
Why if he testifies she be found guilty of abusing her power. We can't have that. The truth is like sunlight to a vampire to cons.
She is a republican...they have different rules and laws...
Should they: yes.

Will they: no.
For what exactly? Press the anti drama button, I'm pretty sure the kids will be ok.
SHHHHHH! Be quiet !!!!

If They go after them, what will they do to ME !

Ted Kennedy
I agree with you 100%
You mean like the example of lying under oath such as President Clinton did?
