Does this seem like a good way to tell your husband your pregnant?

Get a nice watch box. Put a pair of booties (pregnancy test reader might seem kinda creepy) in them. Gift wrap and present it to him on his birthday in 6 days.





If not, any creative ideas.Does this seem like a good way to tell your husband your pregnant?
Cute but.. i dunno if i'd go with a watch box. And is this something you guys were planning?? Cause you want to make sure he will really be surprised and happy if you are planning on doing it on his birthday.. you don't want him to be shocked and overwhelmed!





I think you should just use a normal box, even a shoe box. Buy one pink pair of booties and one blue pair and put one of each in it..

That's really cute. I love it! From personal experience, I would also suggest that you take a photo of the pregnancy test result to put in the bottom of the box under the booties. You know what men are like -- they kind of like to see the evidence and I agree that a damp, old plastic pee-stick might not be so appealing :) LOL

Edit: I agree with Mike. Just give him the box today or tomorrow and tell him it's an 'early birthday pressie'. Waiting will drive you NUTSO
That's quite a bomb to drop on a guy... Were it me, I think a nice quiet dinner (going out would work as well)... during the dinner, close to the end, would probably decrease the shock.





I would tell him that you need to talk to him... and tell him as a matter of fact.

And tell him theres a part 2 to his birthday present...and explain that your pregnant.








Or do what my mother did and have a baby food jar waiting under a plate cover and lift it and say eat up...baby lol it was funny my dads jaw dropped and she did it every time too
you should cook dinner. serve things like popcorn chicken/shrimp. baby garden peas and other small foods. make it a weird combination. he will be wondering what's up with the food. then give him the box with booties in it(which i thought was a very creative and great idea)

It really depends on the type of men he is. My husband was nagging me for a baby and when I finally got pregnant he nearly had a heart attack. Seriously!


Now he loves being a daddy but he freaked out big time! So, if your man can take , do it, but just in case do in private in case he throws a fit!
unless he really wants a baby id do that box thing now and get him something else for his birthday. when ever you tell him he'll be siked, but maybe he'll want something else for his birthday, you know what men are like. tell him its an early prezzy, good luck and congrate.
well if you think that he is going to be happy that is a good idea but you dont want him to think that he is getting a gift then he ends up that he is not you know what i mean
the only part i dont agree with is waiting until his birthday to tell him, give it to him as an early birthday present =)
